Lawyer Steve Ogolla has garnered praise from netizens for the remarkable transformation of his home, boasting a lush and beautiful lawn just two months after constructing permanent buildings for his mother and four brothers.

In an exclusive interview with TUKO.co.ke, Ogolla expressed his satisfaction with the progress, revealing that he sometimes considers relocating his office to a rural area to be closer to his beloved mother.

"I am so impressed. I feel like operating from home or starting a branch of my firm at home so that I work from home. I just want to be closer to my mother," he revealed.

When asked about the motivation behind his generous act, he emphasised that helping family is a cultural norm in Africa, unlike the practices in the West, and sees no wrongdoing in extending support to his loved ones.

"That is what families do. In an African culture, we are not as materialistic as the global West. And if someone is not extending help to loved ones, then that is wrong. For us, it is not a big deal, and that is why we contribute towards fundraisers. It is a nice thing to help people when you are blessed," he noted.
