Rapper Stoopid Boy of the 'G Bag Na Jug' fame has taken his followers on a neighbourhood tour in “Gotta City” slums.

Where does Stoopid Boy live?

In a reality show, Life After Fame, which is gaining traction on social media, Stoopid Boy documented his upbringing in the ghetto, showing how he lived in squalor.

The never-before-seen slum life exposed how Stoopid Boy and other residents struggle with inadequate and squalid housing as well as miserable living conditions.

Stoopid Boy immersed his followers in street life by showing off his friends and neighbours and the kinds of businesses thriving in the informal settlement.

Wherever he went, fans greeted him warmly and adoringly embraced by children who - happy to see him - sang along with every lyric of his songs.

"Much love," Stoopid Boy tells fans at one of the stops during the tour of the slum.

According to his fans, the reality show was timely, providing an inside look at how he rose to fame, but it was bittersweet for those left behind in the ghetto.

George Ombina told TUKO.co.ke that Stoopid Boy stays at Riverbank, a slum near Kayole.

“It is a relatively little-known slum across from Donholm Phase Five. It is nicknamed Gotta City and has produced the likes of Madocho.”

Why did Ofweneke feud with Stoopid Boy?

Early this month, the G Bag Na Jug hitmaker made headlines after publicly falling out with TV host Dr Ofweneke.

This is after the rapper cancelled a scheduled interview with Ofweneke, demanding to be paid first.

A fuming Ofweneke called out Stoopid Boy on the move, warning him of the potential impact on his career for such demands.

In a quick rejoinder, however, Stoopid Boy said he would not be taken advantage of and affirmed that he does not do free interviews.
