Man graduates from university at age 95

In an earlier article, David Marjot, a 95-year-old widower, became Kingston University’s oldest graduate with an MA in Modern European Philosophy.

Despite his age, Marjot is considering a part-time doctorate course, which could lead to another degree at 102.

The retired psychiatrist, who lost his wife after 65 years of marriage, found the course essential for keeping his mind occupied.

His supervisor, Stella Sandford, praised Marjot for bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to class discussions.
