For this reason, his wife encouraged him to start a business, after which she took out a loan to help him purchase a second-hand matatu.

Regrettably, the matatu proved to be more of a liability than an asset, constantly breaking down and draining their finances.

The husband, feeling defeated, decided to sell the matatu at a throw-away price.

What happened to the second business?

Unfazed, the wife took out another loan from a Sacco, combining it with the proceeds from the sale to invest in a new business.

However, this venture also seems on the brink of collapse, leaving the man deeply troubled and overcome with guilt and despair.

"I feel so bad about this. I feel like my misfortune is holding my wife back and I'm undeserving of her kindness and support," he lamented.

Convinced that his presence is detrimental to her future, he contemplates leaving to struggle away from the woman who has stood by him through thick and thin.

He added that he will never marry again because he knows he has failed his first wife.

"She doesn't deserve to be held back by me any longer. I think I'm cursed, and nothing good can come from me," he continued.

According to him, he is better off suffering elsewhere as he awaits his day of death.
