Kenyan socialite Vera Sidika has criticised Anerlisa Muigai for fundraising to bail out her alleged lover, Joseph Kariuki.

How did Vera Sidika react to Anerlisa fundraising for lover?

Vera took to her Instagram stories to sympathise with Anerlisa, noting that her friends were wrong for exposing her online.

The mother of two criticised the Keroche heiress for fundraising for her alleged lover.

She said that Anerlisa's lover looked moneyed, and she did not understand why he left her asking for money from her friends.

She said:

"It's not cool for friends to expose the fact that you are fundraising for your guy, but, baby, let me be honest, why would you fundraise for a man who looks like he has money? What he should be saying is, 'babe would you please go and see my lawyer. Get KSh 3 million from him and bail me out' because why heri ingekuwa ni mtu unajua hana kakitu. Why do you need to ask your friends to do that? I feel like your friends could fundraise for you but fundraising for your guy? That's nasty work."

Why was Anerlisa fundraising from her friends?

Anerlisa learned the hard way not to trust all her friends after her private WhatsApp chat was leaked to social media.

According to the Keroche heiress, she had created a WhatsApp group chat with some of her trusted friends.

The group's purpose was to fundraise KSh 3 million to bail out her alleged fiancé.

Anerlisa, in the chat, claimed she had already raised KSh 1.8 million and needed the remainder to clear the bail.

She promised her friends that she would pay back every penny after her lover was released and his accounts unfrozen.
