Video Of Arrogant Passenger Insulting Cab Driver Angers Kenyans: "Nunua Gari Yako"

• While many Kenyans expressed disappointment with the behaviour of Uber drivers, recent acts have seen passengers' uncalled-off behaviour on the rise
• On Monday, May 6, an Uber driver recorded a passenger throwing insults at him for questioning him for banging his door
• The arrogant passenger went ahead threatening the Uber driver on how he should be cautious as he (Pablo) is a threat

A viral video of a passenger harassing an Uber driver went viral on X after he went about threatening the driver after he requested one.

The man identified as Pablo in the video, was offended and started insulting the driver, after he was asked about banging the car door.

Why did the passenger threaten their driver

"Don't address me in that manner, you will know who I am. Why are you threatening me, come down and show me the impact of the bang," he angrily lamented.

The driver's voice could be heard pleading with the guy after humbly questioning why he had banged his door before the man approached him with insults.

"Why are you beating me, I politely asked you why are you banging my door. I'm an Uber driver, I didn't threaten you at all," the Uber driver said.

A female voice was heard pleading with the arrogant passenger to let go of the altercation, as he was under the influence of alcohol, and asked him to order another Uber.

"Let him leave, we can get a request for another Uber. Kindly don't beat him up, let him go. This is his car," the lady pleaded.

The man identified as Pablo by the lady went ahead bragging about his two cars that are working as Uber, and he cannot be threatened with a 'small' car.

Tax drivers for failing to respect their presence

In December, a Cab driver in Nairobi called out passengers for disregarding his presence and getting cozy at the backseat.

The driver said, the passengers fail to consider their feelings, and some demand for the backseat to have pleasure moments.
