President William Ruto apologised to one of his daughters after touring Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta.

Did the president travel with his kids to the US?

The president travelled to the US for a meeting to celebrate the long-standing relations between Kenya and the US.

While in the US, the president visited the Tyler Perry Studios with his wife, Rachel Ruto.

He was also in the company of his daughters, June Ruto, Stephanie Ruto, and Cullie Ruto.

The president was having a photo session and asked his daughters to step out from the shadows and take some pictures.

The gorgeous girl stood next to their parents for the lovely family photo.

In a tweet, Denis Itumbi disclosed that his boss had apologised to one of his daughters while on the trip.

According to Itumbi, one of Ruto's daughters was passionate about pursuing film, but the president did not allow her to.

After a tour of the Tyler Perry Studios, the president saw the essence of film in the industry.

Ruto said:

" Now I see what you could see 8 years ago."

Did Steve Harvey meet up with Ruto's daughters

The first family got to meet American star and comedian Steve Harvey, and they posed for photos with him.

The president expressed his delight in meeting Harvey and gave him sculptures of the Big Five animals and the Kenyan shield.

How will Kenya benefit from Ruto's US visit?

As previously reported by TUKO.co.ke, during Ruto's state visit to the US, on Thursday, May 23, Kenya will seek to attract trillions of shillings in investment.

Trade negotiations and trade shows are expected to take centre stage during the 4-day visit.

According to Trade Cabinet Secretary (CS) Rebecca Miano, Kenya will pitch over 30 business ideas to prospective investors to close deals worth over $20.5 billion (KSh 2.69 trillion).
