Kenyan man facing execution in Saudi Arabia

In a separate story, TUKO.co.ke reported with only ten days left until the fateful deadline, Dorothy Kweyu is waging an emotional battle to rescue her son, Stephen Munyakho.

Stephen is facing an uncertain fate as the countdown to his potential execution, set for May 15, 2024, draws near.

Stephen's life, marked by both aspiration and adversity, spans two continents and decades of struggle, as reported by Nation Africa.

Having spent 22 years in Kenya, his quest for financial stability and educational opportunities led him to the Middle East, where he has since spent 28 years in Saudi Arabia.

However, his dreams were shattered when a tragic altercation in 2011 resulted in a murder conviction under Sharia law.

The incident, a fatal clash with Abdul Halim Mujahid Markad Saleh, a Yemeni national, left Stephen incarcerated for the past 13 years, facing the spectre of execution.
