Greenfield bought GGG Clothing in 1977 and renamed it Martin Greenfield Clothiers. His client list has included Presidents Eisenhower, Bill Clinton, Gerald Ford, and Barack Obama. Other famous clients include Paul Newman, Colin Powell, Patrick Ewing, Ray Kelly, Michael Bloomberg, and Edward Egan. Greenfield and his company have tailored lines for DKNY and Rag & Bone and created the suits used in the television series Boardwalk Empire. His memoir Measure of a Man: From Auschwitz Survivor to Presidents' Tailor was published in 2014.
