Taboo is an American rap artist, singer, and actor who has a net worth of $15 million dollars. Taboo, also known as Jaime Luis Gomez, was born in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles, California. In 1995, Taboo joined the group the Black Eyed Pods, later known as the Black Eyed Peas, as a replacement for original member Dante Santiago. The Black Eyed Peas began to gain notice in the late 90s after the release of their debut album, "Behind the Front", under Interscope Records.
They released a second album, "Bridging the Gap", in 2000. They added Fergie to their line-up in 2003, and suddenly the group's success jumped to another level.
