American Idol Singer Adam Lambert Puts His LA Home Up For Sale At $3.35 Million
Adam Lambert, the singer-songwriter who's recently had the honor of joining the rock band Queen on the road, is trying to find somebody to take the reigns of his house in the West Hollywood Hills. CNBC reports that he's listed the home for an asking price of $3.35 million.
That's about $350,000 more than he paid for it when he purchased it back in 2014, but the house dates all the way back to 1947. But it's been extensively renovated in the decades since, as well as expanded to its present size of almost 4,000 square feet in the modern style.
Lambert's career after he reached second place on American Idol's eighth season has been among the show's biggest success stories, and the house is indeed worthy of a star, with three bedrooms, three and a half baths, a chef's kitchen, and multiple formal dining rooms, all tucked behind a gate that protects the property from unwanted guests.
There's also plenty of space outside, since the whole lot itself sprawls over 9,262 square feet above the Sunset Strip, with room for a fire pit and extensive outdoor living space as well as a spa and reflecting pools (!) in the back. In the master suite upstairs, you'll find a walk-in closet as well as a luxurious marble bathroom with its own private balcony overlooking the Hollywood Hills. There's plenty of marble to be found in the kitchen too, which is also outfitted with the latest appliances. Elsewhere in the home, its official listing proclaims a separate suite with its own private entrance, which the "ideal for a gym, theatre, recording studio or customizable to suit your imagination."
