Los Angeles Clipper Paul George Just Bought Former Clipper DeAndre Jordan's Pacific Palisades House For $16.1 Million
Paul George only recently made the move from the Oklahoma City Thunder to the Los Angeles Clippers, but he's already putting roots down in a place with some strong Clippers connections. Not only is it located on the west coast in the Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles, but it once belonged to fellow NBA star DeAndre Jordan, himself a former Clipper going back to the very beginning of his professional career in 2008.
Dirt reports that George and partner Daniela Rajic paid almost $16.1 million for the three-story, seven-bedroom, 10,014-square-foot mansion, built back in the latter part of 2015. It was then that Jordan purchased it for $12.7 million, but for whatever reason, he only lived there for six months before selling the home at a reported loss of $1 million. He sold it to a "local hedge funder" named Curtis Macnguyen, who is now selling it to George, but it isn't known whether Macnguyen ever moved into the spread, or not.
The house itself is a work by developer Ramtin Ray Nosrati, who built the house on spec in the Cape Cod style. Nestled within the Riviera neighborhood, the home boasts ten baths in addition to the aforementioned seven beds, an open floor plan and special touches like an expansive climate-controlled wine room. Then there's the underground level, which features even more fun stuff like a home theater, game room and lounge, and a large indoor spa with a swimming pool and gym.
Back upstairs you'll find the absurdly large master bedroom with its large master bathroom and private balcony overlooking the backyard and Pacific ocean. That yard has some impressive features of its own too, with another swimming pool (complete with waterfall), putting green, outdoor kitchen, and a half basketball court.
