The joyful Nankya, beaming with pride, recounted her journey to motherhood.
She explained that after experiencing labour pains, she initially visited a nearby clinic, which promptly referred her to Busolwe Hospital for delivery.
"During the antenatal visits, they told me I was carrying twins, but to my surprise, when the time came, they were quadruplets," Nankya said.
Nankya, who was in Senior Two when she became pregnant, expressed her desire to return to school.
However, she acknowledged the challenges ahead, citing her humble background and the vulnerability of the children's father.
According to her, the babies' father had dropped out of school after completing primary school.
Dr Abeso, in charge of the children's ward at Mbale Regional Referral Hospital, confirmed that all four babies are healthy and stable.
However, she expressed concerns about the challenges Nankya might face once discharged, particularly regarding breastfeeding all four infants.
"It is important for her health that she does not get pregnant very soon, as she needs time for her bones to develop fully," Dr. Abeso added.
Meanwhile, a woman and her husband are grateful for being abundantly blessed with children following their marriage.
In a trending TikTok video, the couple shared a throwback photo from 2019 when they had no children.
The couple went viral on social media after revealing they now have quadruplets after they welcomed the four new blessings.
