Internet sensation Bradley Marongo received a hero's welcome when he returned to his home village in Vihiga on Saturday, September 21.
The young man was reunited with his mother, Monica Marongo, who had previously expressed concerns about her son not answering her calls and blamed his managers for leading him astray.
Monica had publicly appealed to Bradley, urging him not to forget his family, including his wife and child, and even hinted that he had found another woman in the city.
Despite the concerns, Bradley's return was met with excitement.

Villagers gathered around him, eager to see the local celebrity.
Dressed in a sharp suit, he graciously posed for photos and interacted warmly with his community, enjoying a moment of homecoming amidst his rising fame.
Earlier, Marongo shared a video showing him arriving at his upcountry home at night.
His elated mother could not hide her joy as she warmly embraced him.
The mum could not stop smiling and laughing as Marongo grinned at her.
"Welcome," she said.
Marongo then introduced his manager, Director Trevor, to his mother.
Bradley also posted a video showing him buying several bales of maize flour, cooking oil, and other items for his mum.
“Thank you, Kenyans, for your support. I paid my mother a visit, as you said, family first,” Bradley wrote.
In a separate article, Marongo shared some advice for his lookalike from Bungoma, Isaac Otesa, who had hoped to capitalise on their resemblance to improve his life.
Marongo reflected on the situation, recalling how Manzi wa Kibera had previously expressed interest in hosting him, but he declined the offer.
Marongo used this opportunity to give Otesa some important advice, stressing that fame does not guarantee instant wealth or success.
