The prime suspect in the Kware killings in Mukuru kwa Njenga slums escaped from Gigiri Police Station alongside 12 other Eritrean detainees on Tuesday, August 20.
According to a police report obtained by TUKO.co.ke, the 12 Eritreans had been detained at the station for illegal immigration.
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) published an announcement on their social media platforms asking the public to help locate Jumaisi.

The agency also offered a cash reward to anyone with information on the whereabouts of the main suspect in the Mukuru killings.
"A significant cash reward will be provided to anyone with credible information leading to the suspect's arrest. The suspect is from Shiru sub-location, Shaviringa location, Hamisi sub-county in Vihiga county," the DCI statement read in part.
However, the DCI did not disclose the exact reward amount for information on Jumaisi's whereabouts, describing it only as "significant."
Anyone with information on the suspect's whereabouts can report confidentially by calling the police hotlines 911, 999, or 112, or by visiting the nearest police station.
This development follows reports that Jumaisi and his associates walked out of Gigiri Police Station unrestrained.
An eyewitness at the station claims to have seen Jumaisi leave through the main door while two police officers, whom he identified, were present.
The witness observed all suspects, including Jumaisi, in the corridor outside their cells. Jumaisi’s cell door had been opened, and he was no longer chained.
The witness reported seeing one of the Eritreans handing money to the two officers, who then stated they were heading to the canteen.
The witness noted that one officer later appeared intoxicated, a claim supported by station insiders.
