According to Citizen Digital, Momanyi and his wife started demolishing the mud house of one of their sons after he allegedly threatened their lives and accused them of witchcraft.
Area chief Dickson Omaywa said that land disputes between Momanyi and his three sons have been frequent, making the homestead unsafe.
The sons of the elderly Momanyi have reportedly turned against him and are allegedly plotting to kill him to inherit the family land.
Momanyi, sharing his perspective with difficulty, questioned why the children he raised have now turned against him and their mother.
"I'm asking the government, is this really okay? Again, when one gets old, does it mean they become a witch? Why do they want to chase me away from my land?" he asked.
In a separate incident, a young man narrated his broken relationship with his father as he sought advice from social media users.
The confused and heartbroken man, whose name was concealed, said the strained father-son relationship began a few years ago.
The 23-year-old man said they always end up in disagreement anytime he has a conversation with his father.
The two men couldn't coexist peacefully, prompting the young man to leave home and find another place to live.
He hasn't returned home since leaving in 2019, as his relationship with his father remains strained.
