Rodrigues died a few days after another legend, Jesse Waweru, breathed his last.

Waweru was the man who founded the JESMA exams to provide high-quality, accessible exam materials and marking schemes for students.

The educationist died at the age of 72 after a protracted battle with pancreatic cancer.

Many remembered him for setting tough exams that made them work extra hard.
