Gilda Naibei, the daughter of gospel singer Esther Musila is excited after her stepfather, Guardian Angel, offered her a job.

The couple, which is in a huge age difference marriage, faced criticism online after announcing they were an item. The lovebirds trended for days but ignored critics and focused on their love.

The mother of three said they cried after reading comments on social media.

"When the news went viral that we were dating, it was on a Friday. We thought by the weekend, it wouldn't be news anymore... I remember we stayed in the house, sat on the bed and cried. I was like, who have we wronged?" Esther said, adding that she lost so many friends.

Previously, the Swadakta hitmaker revealed that he was on good terms with his stepchildren, and he has hired Gilda to work with him.

Guardian's stepdaughter will be hosting a show dubbed What's News on his gospel channel, 7 Heaven Music. Excited, Gilda said she would talk about trending gospel topics weekly.

"Big shout out to our new host @onlygilda for the new show What's News," Guardian posted accompanied by the video below.

Reacting to the news, Gilda said:

Esther Muisila's daughter overjoyed as Guardian Angel marries mum

Guardian and Esther's wedding was attended by a few family members and close friends.

Musila's three children were present at the wedding, and her firstborn son walked her down the aisle.

Esther's only daughter, Gilda, shared a photo of her mum and Guardian on their big day and congratulated them on their nuptials.
