Lang'ata Member of Parliament (MP) Jalang'o has a doppelganger named Stanley Mulee Mutisya, who first met the MP in November 2021 during an interview on Jalang'o TV.
In a recent interview, Mutisya claimed that Jalang'o had promised to help him but had not followed through on his promises.
Mutisya recounted that after appearing on Jalang'o's show, he received only KSh 1,000, despite Jalang'o's pledge to change his life.

Mutisya explained how he spent the money—using KSh 600 for a cab, giving KSh 200 to the person who accompanied him, and using the remaining KSh 200 for his journey home.
"My landlord usually tells me that I resemble Lang'ata MP Jalang'o, yet I can't pay rent in time. He only gave me KSh 1,000 after interviewing me.... I only ate his KSh 100," he said, expressing his disappointment.
He also shared that his landlord often remarks on his resemblance to Jalang'o, yet he struggles to pay rent on time.
Mutisya lamented that his attempts to text the MP often go unanswered or receive delayed responses.
"He said on record that he would help me. He gave me hope," Mutisya added, questioning why Jalang'o had seemingly abandoned him. "If that was part of the content, then he should tell me," he concluded.
Stanley Mulee Mutisya was a fourth-year software engineer student at Pioneer University when he was hosted on Bonga na Jalas in November 2021.
Mutisya, who is known among his peers as Jalas Junior, completed his studies in March 2023.
When asked whether his striking resemblance to Jalang'o bothers him, the doppelganger jokingly said he suspects his father.
The young man said he realised he resembled Jalang'o when he was eight years old after seeing some of his photos on Facebook.
