Kenyan comedian Abel Mutua has turned a year older, and his wife showered him with love.

His wife, Judy, via her Instagram account, penned a sweet message for the comedian as he turned 38.

Judy noted that her husband was a testament to God's love and favour. She was positive that only good things awaited him.

"It’s the young man’s birthday! You are a true testament of God’s love and favour. Only great things await you in your new year," she said.

The mother of one said she was proud of him and wished him happy turnings.

"I’m so proud of you! Happiest birthday husband wa mine."

She and the Philit Productions crew surprised him with cake after a shoot.

Njugush, one of Abel's best friends, also wished the comedian a happy birthday via social media.

Abel Mutua says wife is free to leave if she gets tired of him
