Kenyans have been left in awe by Newton Ochieng, a 17-year-old high school student from Nyabondo Boys High School.
Ochieng’s towering presence was first highlighted in a viral photo shared on Facebook by Kenya Sports.
In the photo, the teen is seen standing next to an older friend, making the latter appear diminutive.

This image quickly spread across social media platforms, sparking a wave of reactions and comments from netizens.
The young student’s impressive stature has earned him a spot on the Kenyan U-18 volleyball team.
Ochieng will represent Kenya in the upcoming World Cup qualifiers in Tunisia, showcasing his talent on an international stage.
Given the attention his counterpart Bradley Marongo has received, all eyes will be on how the youngster will turn his height into profit.
The photo went viral on social media, with many netizens proposing he try a hand at basketball.

He has also signed several brand ambassadorial deals, one of them with an automobile company.
