Moyale - Passengers who were travelling from Moyale to Nairobi have been left in shock after armed attackers opened fire on their bus.

The Salama Bus was ambushed between Bori Junction and Dadach Lakole on Monday, September 2, with the assailants fleeing the scene shortly after the attack.

The wounded, who suffered gunshot wounds to their limbs as shown in pictures witnessed by TUKO.co.ke, were taken to Sololo Mission Hospital for emergency treatment.

Unfortunately, one of the injured passed away before reaching the hospital.

Social media footage revealed the extent of the damage: the bus was riddled with bullet holes, some of its tyres were missing, and the windows were shattered.

Disturbing reports from survivors suggested that the attackers had intended to kill everyone on board but failed in their mission.

"Look at all these bullets, these people are not human. They wanted to kill us all but God intervened," said a voice in one of the videos.
