A young lady from Umoja, Nairobi county, named Yasmin Agnes, has publicly professed her love for the popular preacher Apostle Dan Wema by parading a placard declaring her feelings.
The placard read:
“My name is Agnes. I love Apostle Dan Wema. Please, will you marry me? I’m 27 years old.”
How did Dan Wema respond to smitten Umoja woman?
The bold move caught Wema’s attention, prompting him to respond by posting the lady’s photo on his social media.

In his caption, the preacher asked for time to focus on his ministry and urged people to stop tagging him in the viral photo.
“Let me do God’s work first. Please don’t tag me in this photo. It’s okay; it’s good for a person to express herself, and she has expressed herself. But don’t send me this photo. Even one of my aunts sent me this picture. People of Nairobi, leave me alone,” Wema wrote.

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Agnes shared her reasons for choosing Wema, emphasising her desire for a partner who is saved, has a pure spirit, and helps the less privileged.
"I have chosen him because I want someone saved and with a pure spirit to help the less privileged, and also a mature person," she said.
She also revealed that she works at a hotel in Umoja and acts in high school set books, showcasing her passion for the arts.
