Political enthusiast Nuru Okanga was warmly welcomed back to his village with a hero's reception after receiving a posho mill as a gift.
The mill was part of a life-changing gesture following a generous offer from Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi.
During an interview on the Obinna Show Live on August 19, MP Oscar Sudi made a significant promise in Okanga's presence.

The MP offered to assist Okanga with KSh 1.3 million for housing and other needs.
He advised Okanga to find a three-bedroom house under the affordable housing scheme in either Kibera or Mukuru Kwa Njenga, and assured him that he would cover the expenses.
Sudi's words were:
"Do you want KSh 1.3 million? Give me your account, and I will deposit the money for you. Not immediately; I will do it later. However, regarding what I have arranged for you, go and look for a house under the affordable housing scheme; find a three-bedroom house. I have bought this for you as if I bought it for the children, and you should now start life and continue. Go and furnish everything."
In a recent update, Okanga confirmed that he had received KSh 700,000 from the MP, with the remaining amount to be sent once he returns to Nairobi.
A video sighted by TUKO.co.ke showed Okanga's triumphant return to his village, accompanied by excited boda boda riders.
The clip captured him standing at the back of a lorry carrying the posho mill, highlighting the joy and celebration surrounding his arrival.
A few weeks ago, Okanga thanked Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki for clearing his son's hospital bill.
Okanga's 10-year-old son was diagnosed with kidney failure and was hospitalised at the Kenyatta National Hospital for over three months.
The political activist was depressed and resorted to asking for help from well-wishers and Azimio politicians, but only two, Raila Odinga and Babu Owino, came through for him.
