Pastor Ng'ang'a Claims 700 Women Walked Out Of His Church When He Unveiled His Wife: "Hata Ushers"

Neno Evangelism founder Pastor James Ng'ang'a has shared that he lost over 400 congregants when he introduced his new wife, Murugi Maina, to the church.

The preacher, whose first wife passed away, remarried and decided to unveil his current wife during a church service.

How Pastor Ng'ang'a lost female congregants

Speaking to his congregation, Pastor Ng'ang'a revealed that around 700 women, including some ushers, left the church after realising he had chosen someone else as his spouse.

According to Ng'ang'a, many of these women had hoped he would marry them because of his position as a wealthy, anointed leader.

"When I wanted to marry my wife, this church had a big problem. The church was so flooded. Several women had been approaching me. Because when you have an anointing and also wealth, women come into your life. They are everywhere.

So when I unveiled my wife, believe me, or not, 700 women stood and walked away. They knew my first wife was dead and had hoped I would pick them. Even ushers walked out, wondering why I couldn't have picked them. I lost 4000(people)... I stood and told them to go away; she was mine, not God's. Some people said she was a child..," Pastor Ng'ang'a said.

How did Pastor Ng'ang'a's wife celebrate his birthday?

Previously, Pastor Ng'ang'a's wife, Murugi, showered him with love on his special day.

Murugi posted numerous photos of herself and her husband on his birthday.

In the Thursday, September 5 post, Murugi shared the slideshow capturing their moments together.

In one image, the preacher placed his arm on Murugi's shoulder as they smiled at the camera. Another is a selfie Ng'ang'a took while at an upscale location.
