Nandi: A week ago, Naomi Jepchirchir was thrust into the limelight after she was captured admiring graduates at a University of Eastern Africa, Baraton graduation ceremony.

What touched people who saw Naomi Jepchirchir?

When she went to the ceremony, the girl took in the sights and sounds of the great day as she walked to the front.

At the front of the square, the young, barefooted girl, who had attended the ceremony despite not having a relative in the group, could not stop staring at the smartly dressed graduands

People who saw the photos online admired her innocent heart and wished that she would achieve everything she desired at the moment.

Things have since changed as after the ceremony; she went from being just any other village girl to being famous, with people falling over themselves to show her the other side of life

1. Visit to Naomi's home

A photo shared by Sospeter Wa Htown Page showed young Naomi looking at the graduates on the first day. Another frame shows the girl with her older sister at their dilapidated home.

2. School fees paid for Naomi's neighbours

Thanks to Damaris Too, Naomi's sister's school fees at Kombe Secondary were fully paid, as well as her brother's fees at Kemeloi Secondary.

The family also received essential supplies, and Naomi herself will get uniforms from Dsquare Uniforms Limited until she completes her schooling.

In addition, her sister at Baraton International School received new uniforms. Zuriel Technical Training Institute in Eldoret also offered 10 scholarships to Naomi’s neighbours, who will start their studies in January 2025.

Before returning to school, Naomi and her siblings were invited on a trip to Baringo by Moita Tours.

3. Furnished with school shoes

Naomi was gifted new shoes for the new school year, and she had a great time trying them on, as she didn't have good ones before.

4. Little Naomi dressed in a graduation gown

"One day Naomi Jepchirchir will have a story to tell. God's speed little Angel, coming from a family of six and being the fifth born, she is an agent of change to all her family members," said Lemiso Leboo as she shared a photo of Naomin in her graduation gown, said Lemiso Leboo.

5. Naomi on the CEO Live Show

Naomi graced The CEO Live Show on August 20, to the delight of many people.

The Grade Two learner at Kombe Primary School hoped to be the country's chief executive officer in future!

6. Back to school blessings

Child of blessings; ahead of school opening, Moita Adventures treated Naomi Jepchirchir, her mum and siblings to a trip to Baringo county. The team also did shopping for the family.

Naomi Jepchirchir's mum speaks out

Naomi's mother, Milkah Chepchumba, explained that they attended the graduation as spectators.

Milkah discovered Naomi's newfound fame when a doctor informed her at the hospital.

The doctor advised her to keep her phone on as many people were trying to reach her.
