Police Officer Allegedly Breaks Into House Of DJ, Assaults Him Over A Woman

Narok- A DJ named Arnold Kamau recounted how a police officer allegedly broke into his house and assaulted him, reportedly due to a suspected love triangle.

What did Kamau say about police officer?

The DJ stated that the police officer forcibly broke into his home on Sunday, September 1, and dragged him outside.

According to a Citizen Digital report, the officer started kicking and beating the DJ, accusing him of being involved with his lover.

"He beat me with a stick until it broke into pieces. He also had a knife, but my neighbours' shouts stopped him from stabbing me," Kamau said.

As a result of the attack, Kamau suffered a swollen face and a broken hand. Following the initial assault, the officer reportedly took Kamau to a bar and continued beating him.

Kamau is currently seeking justice. He denies involvement with the officer's partner and insists he is a friendly man.

Kisumu police officer shots man in suspected love triangle

This isn't the first time a police officer has been involved in an assault related to a suspected love triangle.

Previously, a police officer in Kisumu was put under investigation after a shooting incident in the lakeside city.

The officer allegedly used his official weapon against an unarmed civilian in a fit of rage at a liquor store.

The officer, attached to Kisumu Central Police Station, was accused of shooting the man three times in what is reported to be a love triangle.

Identified as Kevin Ouma, the victim was rushed to the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital (JOORTH) for further treatment.

The incident was reported at Kondele police station for further action.
