Nancy Kerio, the woman who broke down a few days ago after recalling how her son was ruthlessly murdered, has emerged as a new woman and thanked Kenyans for helping her.
In a saddening video, Kerio from Baragoi in Samburu county shared how she was forced into a polygamous marriage with an old man, and as she was getting used to it, their home was raided.
The young woman broke down in pain while explaining how her five-year-old son was killed as they were hiding in the forest from their attackers.

The woman escaped from the forest and was trying to rebuild her life from scratch; she needed well-wishers to help her pay for a house, take her other kids to school, and get a job.
In a video shared on September 11, Kerio shared that things have since changed for her, and she is living a better life than when she was in the forest.
"Kenyans, may God bless you and do good to you. As you see me, I am smartly dressed, have nice shoes, and for the first time, I have a sofa set. I used to sleep on the ground, but now I have a mattress," she said.
"My house has tiles, and I also have a TV and wall unit, the latter is full of food, and I have keys to lock it. I also have a new bed and a cooker," said Kerio with a smile.
Her children were also in the house wearing new, modern clothes, and they now go to school. The lady also boasts a modern phone, which she shyly said that she is learning to use.
In another story, a Form Four student captivated internet users with a meticulously handwritten letter expressing her appreciation to her sponsor.
The student's letter not only conveyed her gratitude but also showcased her exceptional handwriting skills, leaving a lasting impression on all who read it.
She eloquently detailed her experiences during the first term of school and expressed her gratitude for her sponsor's unwavering support.
