Kenyan musician Stevo Simple Boy has refuted claims that he joined the Illuminati.
Stevo's style has changed over the past few months, and some fans speculated that the musician had joined the controversial group.
The musician addressed the claims in an interview with YouTuber Trudy Kitui, saying that they were false.

"I am not in Illuminati. Me I pray three times per day. People must stop. I am not in Illuminati."
The Freshi Barida crooner said that his change of style could have led to the speculations.
"Because I have changed the clothes and the things I am doing," he suggested.
Stevo, however, alleged that some politicians, musicians and pastors asked him to join the group.
"Mostly politicians, musicians, pastors. They told me to join the Illuminati since they have a lot of money, cars and many things. I told them I'm not joining the Illuminati because of their wealth... no money. I have friends who are in the Illuminati, but I will not disclose them. I know them. Right now they are doing well but not really well."
He vowed never to join the organisation as he is a Christian.
"I will never join the illuminati."

The hitmaker recently shared a video showing a complete makeover, eliciting mixed reactions among fans.
In the video, famous celebrity barber Geometric Barber showed step-by-step how he gave Stivo a completely new look.
Reacting to the video, some fans made fun of Stevo, comparing him to American rapper Rick Ross.
