WhatsApp Chats Leak As Man Blocks Lady After Noticing She Was Interested In His Salary

A man identified as Timi has leaked his conversation with a lady on X, eliciting mixed reactions.

How did Mandy and Timi meet?

The two met on a dating app, and after matching, they exchanged contacts and started chatting on WhatsApp.

After the introduction, the two started talking about their professions.

Mandy said she sells clothes and was saving to open a physical shop by the end of the year. After discovering the man was a civil engineer, she was over the moon.

"You're handsome. I love beards," the lady commented on the man's photo.

The 32-year-old man, chatted with Mandy, 29, and they seemed to be vibing until when she asked about his salary.

"So as a civil engineer, how much do you earn monthly?"

"I earn enough to be comfortable," he responded.

Mandy insisted he shares the figure saying salary is one of the determinants if she would get into a relationship with Timi or not.

"I need to know so that I can know the level of commitment I will put into the relationship. Let me know if you're the kind of guy that I can spend my time with and all," she said.

Adding:

"I need to know so that I can know if you are capable of supporting my career and take care of me. Someone who earns little might not be able to."

Her remarks irked Timi, who asked her to leave him.

"My hard-earned money is not for poverty alleviation," he said.

Mandy was surprised that Timi was not willing to support her if they started dating.

"I know what type of a man you are; good looking, rich and stingy," she said.

Timi then blocked Mandy and shared the screenshots on X.
