Nairobi - President William Ruto has appointed former Narok governor Samuel Tunai as the new chairman of the Kenya Medical Supplies Authority (KEMSA) board.

In a significant reshuffle, the appointment of Farmers party leader and former Transport Principal Secretary Irungu Nyakera was revoked.

Tunai, who had previously been appointed as chief administrative secretary in the Ministry of Interior before the courts declared the positions unconstitutional, takes over the leadership of KEMSA.
