JKUAT Student To Sit For Exams After Netizens Raise KSh 176 For Him: "Tenda Wema Naenda Zako"
  • KOX has once again come to the aid of one of their own, who was sent away from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology because of fee arrears
  • Abuya Masta is a fourth-year student at JKUAT and studies Medical Laboratory Science
  • KOX managed to pay KSh 176,000 out of the KSh 330 that was required for the exams, and he still needs more to cover the arrears and fees for the following semester

Kenyans on x (KOX) have raised KSh 176,000 for one of their own who was sent out of an exam room because of KSh 330,000.

Mwodi leads Netisens in raising KSh 176k

On top of his prevailing predicament, Abuya Masta also had to raise KSh 115,000 to complete the following semester at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.

Masta is a fourth-year student at JKUAT, and he studies Medical Laboratory Science. He started with a diploma certificate to get to where he is now.

According to Dr Mbiti Mwodi, who led the funds drive initiative, Masta will sit for his exams, although they did not raise the total amount.

Masta struggles in Class 7.

"All the best in your exams and thanks KOX for your support. Hopefully, doors will open and the balance will be cleared. Please do good and just go your way," said Mwodi.
"Iam at JKUAT let me go speak for myself and see," said Abuya Masta, who was happy at the turn of events.

Masta struggled a lot from the time his parents separated, and he had to start raising and educating himself from Class 7.

In another story, singer Karangu Muraya took to social media to appreciate Kenyans for coming through for an ailing lady, Faith.

He had requested Kenyans to help raise money for Faith's medical bill, and they raised KSh 1 million.

Faith, who hails from Embu County, battled three types of cancer and still needed over KSh 3 million for treatment.
