Socialite Soila is heartbroken after losing her best friend, Starlet Wahu.

The 26-year-old, an Instagram socialite, was known for her flashy lifestyle.

Wahu, the sister to controversial man of God Pastor Kanyari, was found dead at an Airbnb in South B after a date turned sour. Wahu was allegedly stabbed to death by her date, John Matara.

Wahu was laid to rest at her family home in Kamulu on Saturday, January 6, in a private ceremony.

Starlet Wahu's friend heartbroken

Wahu's best friend, Soila, shared photos and videos from their vacations and partying lifestyle, reminiscing about the great time they spent together.

"My forever third wheeler, to everywhere I went," she captioned one of the videos of Wahu driving her in her flashy car.

The mother of one penned an emotional message to Wahu, describing her as a great friend.

"I don't know what I will do without you. You are my favourite person on the planet," she captioned another video.

In another video, the two socialites were partying and popping bottles as they jammed to their favourite tunes at a popular city club.

"2018-2024 I loved you the same," she said.

Starlet Wahu's last vacation with mum

A video of Wahu and her mother, self-proclaimed prophetess Lucy Nduta, on vacation, re-emerged on social media. In the video shared on August 6, 2023, on Nduta's TikTok account, she wrote:

"Vacation with the baby of the house #blessed mama@wahu_starlet."

She accompanied the video with Tarrus Riley's song, She's Royal.

Pastor Kanyari mourns Starlet Wahu

In a related story, TUKO.co.ke reported that Pastor Kanyari spoke of his sister's untimely death, sharing heartbreaking details.

The man of God revealed that the man captured with his sister on the CCTV video had not met her family. Kanyari noted that it was truly a sad time for the family, as they were heartbroken upon learning of their sister's death.

"I am heartbroken; she was doing so well in life. We last met on Christmas, and on December 31, we spent time together at home. We had not seen the man before. We learned about him after her death. This is so tragic for us, the family, and even her friends. May her soul rest in peace," he told Nairobi News.
