The atmosphere was heavy with grief and sorrow as the leaders could not hold back their emotions.

Many of them, including Likoni MP Mishi Mboko, could be seen shedding tears, their pain palpable as they stood together in solidarity, mourning the loss of lives taken too soon.

The candlelight vigil was not just an act of remembrance but a powerful statement against the injustice that led to the deaths of innocent demonstrators.

The fallen supporters were not mere statistics but individuals with dreams, aspirations, and families.

Their untimely deaths shook the nation and exposed the harsh realities of police brutality.

During the vigil, the leaders lit candles to symbolise the hope that there was a flicker of light even in darkness.

The candles represented the lives lost, and each flame was a promise to fight for justice and accountability.

As they laid flowers honouring the departed, the leaders vowed to continue the struggle against oppression and violence.
