Former Ebru TV actor Tony Sherman has reached out to comedian Eric Omondi, begging for his help during a challenging time.

Sherman, who lost his job, opened up about the difficulties he has been facing since then.

What challenges is Sherman facing?

In an exclusive interview with TUKO.co.ke, he revealed that he was evicted from his house in Pipeline due to his inability to pay rent.

He spent nights in the cold weather, which eventually led to him being hospitalised.

"I was kicked out of my house. I moved to my aunt's place, but I have been unwell. Life is unbearable here. I was diagnosed with typhoid and pneumonia at Paisley Hospital in Dagoretti Corner," Sherman shared.

Why did Sherman single out Eric Omondi?

Feeling desperate and with limited options, the young actor has turned to Eric Omondi for help.

Sherman considers Eric a philanthropic figure who is approachable and likely to understand his situation.

Sherman expressed his plea, saying,

"I need Eric Omondi's support. He is a good person and I believe he will listen to my cry and rescue me. I just want to get back on my feet. I don't have a job. I also don't have the necessary equipment to start content creation."

How did Eric Omondi help Mathare man?

Previously, comedian Eric Omondi helped Mathare man Victor Juma raise KSh 400,000.

The comedian fulfilled his promise and helped Juma's family to raise cash.

Eric rallied his Instagram followers to send money to Juma, and in a few hours, they raised Ksh 400,000.

"Medical bills for him and his daughter. He will open an exhibition shop for clothes and shoes. His wife will start a small hotel business. Rent for one year. School fees for two years for the daughter. I will advertise his businesses for free."
