Mercy Tarus has unveiled her second job, apart from selling porridge and mandazis to make money.

"You can see where I'm working at. I do hairdressing, and on the weekends, I sell porridge and mandazi. If I go to a bank ata kama ni wewe would you give me money really? This is highway robbery in broad daylight. You are stealing from us and using the government. The power that has been given to you and the protection to steal from us," said Tarus
She maintained her push for the refund of her hard-earned money, saying she does not regret calling out the leaders.
Leading demonstrations in Eldoret town, Tarus said they are tired of hearing stories from the county leaders, calling on President William Ruto to intervene.
The student said she makes porridge and mandazis for a living and was hoping to change her life.
"As a hustler, I struggled to get the money. I sell porridge and mandazi. I struggled to raise the money for a better life for myself..," she did.
The brave graduate has been hailed for her spirit in fighting for the people of Uasin Gishu County, who lost money in an overseas scholarship scam.
This saw Narok senator Ledama Olekina offer her a job, but she turned it down and urged him to convince senators to audit her county leaders.
"We can work on the next project, after the Uasin Gishu County Government is brought to book and compelled to refund our hard-earned money," said Tarus.
