Halle Berry To Pay 3rd Husband KSh 1.1m Monthly In Child Support After Finalising 8-Year Divorce Battle

Oscar award-winning actress Halle Berry has finalised her divorce from her ex-husband, Olivier Martinez.

Halle Berry to pay child upkeep

The former couple, both 57, had been battling a divorce since October 2015 after they had been married for two years.

According to Page Six, proceedings of their divorce had been delayed when the couple failed to agree on the custody of their son, Maceo, 9.

Court papers filed at Los Angeles Superior Court and seen by the publication directed Halle Berry to pay Martinez KSh 1.1 million for the child's upkeep.

In April, the movie star was also ordered to pay Martinez 4.3% of any income she receives that exceeds KSh 290 million.

Court papers stated that the actress would pay for their child's fees, school supplies and uniforms.

Halle will also finance their son's health insurance and any other uninsured medical expenses, including therapy. The document stated.

She gave a nod to contribute towards KSh 7 million for her ex-husband's legal fees.

Fans claim Halle Berry can't keep man

In 2021, the movie star told off online trolls who intimated she could not keep a man in her life.

She told off a fan who left a distasteful comment on her post.

In an Instagram post, she said women do not owe men anything, which prompted a follower to state she cannot keep a man.

Halle clapped back at the troll and told him:

‘’@philabadboy, who says I wanna keep the wrong man? Because I do not.’’

The post saw endearing fans join the actress in shutting off the troll from commenting further.

Others, however, supported the man's comment.

The Catwoman star in 2017 opened up on the difficulties dealing with her failed marriages. Page Six reported.
