Wetang'ula has invested in the lucrative real estate sector like other wealthy Kenyans.

In Syokimau estate in Machakos county, he is the proprietor of 360 Court apartments with ultra-modern amenities.

According to Business Today, the court features spacious, high-end two-bedroom and three-bedroom units.

Features of 360 Court apartments

Kings Developers noted the apartments are located along Mombasa Road, five kilometres from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

"Each apartment is fitted with modern, stylish fittings creating an environment of pleasant lifestyle," it stated.

Its features include:

  • Cabro surfaced driveways and parking bays.
  • Perimeter wall with electric fencing to keep intruders at bay.
  • Each flat has its parking.
  • Vitrified tiles in the house.
  • Backup generator for common areas.
  • Children's playground.
  • UPVC windows and solar bulbs.

However, the apartments reportedly flood during heavy rains, leaving tenants in distress.

Kenyan politicians who own apartments

Some politicians have declared their wealth publicly, while others have had their properties listed by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).

Former Kiambu governor William Kabogo shared photos of his investments and properties on social media.

Kabogo showed off his multi-billion Iguta Paradise Homes in Runda. The beautiful residences comprise 60 four-bedroom villas with en-suite bedrooms, private gyms and home offices.

Ex-Nairobi governor Evans Kidero, on the other hand, owns assets in Nairobi and Kisumu valued at over KSh 9 billion.
