A Kenyan kienyeji couple, who became a TikTok sensation thanks to their creativity, has finally upgraded from the slums to a middle-class neighbourhood.

Is TikTok Kienyeji couple minting millions from the app?

The couple, identified as The Rays, used to live in one of the city slums and were never afraid of showing the situation in the slums. The area was choked with garbage and sewer.

But a few days ago, after becoming popular on TikTok, lovebirds are the happiest in the world. They recently moved to a two bedroomed house, and one of the bedrooms is ensuite, with a bathroom and a toilet.

Sharing the video of the house on social media, the Kenyan man gave praise to God and thanked their fans for supporting them.

"They always say God's time is always the best. This is our new house," he said.

Ray gave fans a tour of their new home, showing off a spacious kitchen fitted with a sink and cabinets but said he didn't like the tap and would change it.

"From flying toilet to flashing toilet. From ghetto to a two-bedroom. These are blessings God is doing the thing," he said.

The romantic man also showed off an empty sitting room and a new mattress on the main bedroom's floor, revealing he would work hard to buy more household items.

The Rays record themselves while sleeping, attracting audiences on TikTok

Many have always praised the kienyeji lovebirds for being unique and creative. The couple's content is very different from the usual content posted by most TikToker.

A video of the couple sleeping was reshared by a lady identified as Akua Sheila on Twitter, and it got many laughing.

While the lovebirds snored, their followers engaged in banter on their live.
