A content creator has amazed Kenyans with his recreation of President William Ruto's photo.

Ruto's photo in Maasai wear goes viral

The talented man jumped on the trending photo of the head of state cooly rocking the Maasai cultural attire while in Narok.

Ruto was in the company of Governor Joseph Ole Lenku and other leaders, and they later enjoyed a game drive at the world-renowned Maasai Mara National Reserve.

The short but hilarious video showed the man mimicking Ruto, closely nailing the president's outfit, complete with a walking stick made from a cooking spoon.

In place of the Maasai shuka, the content creator was draped in a red outfit made from plastic, and he struck a pose resembling Ruto's.

Ruto supports content creators monetise content

Speaking at State House, Nakuru, during the Kenya Music Festival 2023 performance by winners, Ruto said the government has worked hard to create opportunities for monetising the creative sector.

Ruto promised to work with county governments to set up professional studios in every county across the country.

The president stated the aim was to provide opportunities for artistes of all ages, including those in primary and secondary schools, to nurture and develop their talents.

"We now have opportunities of monetising what you saw here. We are going to make money out of it. We have already working on a Creative Bill that is going to make sure that the Creatives Commission will not only have professional studios in Nairobi but in every county," Ruto said.
