"Men should sit, be comfortable and let women play their wife duties without interrupting because women hate men who play wife duties," read the caption.

Kairetu stated husbands who offer to help their wives perform their duties like cooking and washing kids are a big turnoff.

Role of man in home

She said men do not have a role in assisting their women to perform their tasks at home.

"The role of a man is to sit and wait for the woman to clean, you wait for the wife to serve you, you wait for the wive to serve the kids. Women get some fulfilment when serving their husbands as he is seated comfortably on the sofa," she continued.

She says the posture of a man not involving himself in domestic affairs portrays the man as the leader of the home.

What men should do at home

The TikToker also cautioned men who help their spouses, noting that once women discover their men are the let-me-help-you type, they will take advantage of them.

"As a man, sit on the sofa, do what you want to do, like watch television, play with the kids, but don't go to help your lover in the kitchen. Women do not love that," she said.

Larry Madowo prepares ugali in video

In a different story, Larry Madowo savagely responded to a man who said African men should not cook.

The CNN journalist shared a video of himself displaying his culinary skills in making Kenya's popular maize meal, ugali.

The video showed Madowo using a cooking stick to prepare a well-made mound of ugali before he served it on a plate.

Madowo's impressive cooking skills did not sit well with some netizens, who told the journalist it was taboo for men to cook.

"Uko na akili ingine, ama ni hiyo tu?" Madowo asked.
