Kiambu - A man is devastated after his beloved wife abandoned him without a trace.

John Muchiri Mwangi said he was stunned after returning home one day and finding no one.

His beautiful wife had deserted him, taking with her their only child, a one-year-old daughter.

Disagreements are part of relationships, Mwangi

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Mwangi, who works as a boda boda rider in Muthiga, Kiambu county, said he had a misunderstanding with his wife.

"Disagreements are part of relationships. I would not say we had a massive fallout to warrant her packing her bags and leaving. I was just shocked to come home and find out she had left with their daughter," he narrated.

Mwangi, a father of one, said he had already contacted his wife, asking her to return home and sort out their issues.

Talking to wife over the phone

He said he was desperate to reconcile with her, hoping it would be the case with his wife.

"I have talked to her severally on the phone, pleading with her to return so we can talk. It would be ideal that we resolve our differences and take care of our baby together. I do not want us to go separate ways. I would love us to reconcile and get back together," he said.

Nairobi woman abandoned by lover

In another story, a Nairobi woman staying with her single mum could not fend for her child abandoned by her father.

Emma Wanja Gitonga struggled to care for her baby after her baby daddy walked out on her when she was pregnant.

Wanja, who lived with her jobless single mother, said her lover blocked her and never supported their child, like a Ugandan man who denied his fatherly responsibility.

The Nairobi lady said her mum provided laundry services, but her pay was insufficient to cater to the family's needs.

"It was one of the most painful days in my life. My boyfriend denied the pregnancy and left me in a challenging position. Taking care of my baby alone has been a difficult journey since I was young, and my family struggles to make ends meet.

My boyfriend and I no longer talk. Ever since he dumped me, I do not know where or what he is doing. He has never supported me or the baby. All I have is my family," she heartbreakingly said.
