How did Lucy meet her baby daddy?

Despite facing financial difficulties and unexpected obstacles, their relationship has not only endured but thrived, proving that love and dedication can conquer all odds.

"This journey wasn't easy throughout the three years. I sometimes felt like leaving him because he is broke, but I realised that I'm the one making his pocket dry. Being loyal and faithful is also the most he did for me... I've never found him cheating," Lucy recounted.

The couple's story began in 2020 when they met during their time in college.

Just two weeks after Lucy joined college, she crossed paths with Vincent, marking the beginning of a relationship that would shape both their lives.

How did Lucy's baby daddy help?

"I was about to leave school but he gave me advice. I had stress since there was some money that was needed but I didn't have any due to some issues from home," Lucy shared.

Despite the financial challenges, their bond only grew stronger, and in 2021, Lucy found herself pregnant.

Determined not to let this setback hinder her education, Lucy decided to rent a place near the school.

It was Vincent who stepped up to the plate, covering all of her expenses during this time.

"Sticking with one man wasn't easy, but he taught me how to... and I can't play him either. He made me who I am," Lucy expressed.

Now, as Lucy approaches the final term of her education, she is full of gratitude and a determination to repay Vincent's unwavering support.

Lucy vows to help lover when he goes back to school

"It's been a long three years down the line. You supported me throughout my education. I'm someone because of you," Lucy wrote in a heartfelt message.
"Coming from a background where people aren't educated is not easy... You made me prove to them that giving birth is not the end of life, darling."

Lucy's success story has not gone unnoticed by others, with numerous suitors expressing interest in her. However, she remains steadfastly committed to Vincent.

"I block 10 people daily on my WhatsApp. There are different men daily in my inbox who want a hand in marriage, but my answer is always NO," she asserted.

With her education nearing completion, Lucy is already planning her next steps. She's determined to give back to Vincent by supporting him as he pursues his diploma.

"I will help in paying rent, food, and his expenses. I must hustle to do so since it was my promise to him. There is no need of leaving him just because he is broke. I'll stay by his side forever," Lucy declared with conviction.

Single mum praises baby daddy for taking care of child

Separately, Connie Muruu, a dynamic real estate entrepreneur, fervently advocated for parents to put aside their differences in the best interest of their children.

Muruu shared that thanks to the commendable efforts of her ex-husband, she hasn't had to shop for the past two weeks.

He took it upon himself to ensure their daughter lacked nothing during her time with her loving mother.

"It was not smooth sailing from the word go, but we had to be sober and remember the children didn't ask to be here, and as their parents, we have to do right by them irrespective of how we feel," she told TUKO.co.ke
