The post was accompanied by a description of his academic background and his current struggles.

Further sharing his journey with TUKO.co.ke, he revealed that he began his studies at Egerton University in 2013, pursuing a BSc. in Biomedical Science and Technology.

However, his academic journey faced several hurdles, leading him to defer his studies in 2016 for a year.

"I joined Egerton university in 2013 for Biomedical science and technology. Somewhere along the way, I faced challenges which made me defer my studies in 2016 for a year," he said.

He eventually returned in 2017 and successfully completed his degree in 2018. Despite his accomplishments, Kipyego's graduation was delayed until June 2021.

What has Kipyego been doing?

"I later went back in 2017 and finished in 2018. But my graduation was withheld until June 2021 when I successfully graduated,' added the graduate.

Since graduating, Kipyego has found himself in a cycle of temporary work, undertaking locum positions as a school laboratory technician.

According to him, he has six years of job hunting under his belt.

"Since my completion, I've been going around doing locums as a school lab technician. I am 31 years old. I've been looking for a job for the last six years," he said.
