According to Who Owns Kenya, Otange is owned by Kisii tycoon Julius Otange.

He reportedly established the company in the late 1990s, as per KDRTV.

The company has been transporting passengers plying the Sirare-Migori-Kisii-Nairobi routes for over two decades.

Otange has invested in real estate through apartments in Keroka town. He also runs a petrol station.

Besides Keroka and Kisii, he owns properties in Kenya's capital city, Nairobi.

Who Owns Mbukinya?

Mbukinya public service vehicle (PSV) transport company has been in business for over four decades, offering passenger and parcel services.

The bus company was founded by Paul Mburu Muthumbi, who hawked eggs after completing his education.

Mburu attributed his success to patience and passion for the business, having started with just one bus.

Eleven years after starting the business in Limuru, he had saved KSh 6,000, which was a lot of money by then. From the savings, he spent KSh 3,000 to buy a second-hand bus topped up with a KSh 5,000 loan. The bus offered passenger services along the Limuru-Nairobi route.

The bus company has also spread its tentacles to neighbouring Uganda, with buses operating to Jinja and Kampala.

Guardian Angel is owned by the family of the late businessman Ong'era Moturi who died in 2019, leaving behind multi-million property.
