Kenyans Ungovernable As Rigathi Gachagua Steps Out In Maasai Attire Day After Ruto: "Ole Riggy G"

• Ruto graced the first day of the event on Tuesday, August 22, when he stepped out in the Maasai trademark Shuka culture
• His deputy Rigathi Gachagua would join in the trail, donning the same on Thursday, August 24, when he showed up at the Sekenani Gate

Narok - Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is the latest to appreciate the Maasai culture as the Nilotic community marked its three-day ethnic festival at the Maasai Mara's Sekenani Gate.

Rigathi stepped out in the community's popular attire to join in President William Ruto's challenge that excited netizens.

The deputy president took pride in the community's distinct traditions as he joined the natives in marking the fest.

In his company were the local leaders among them governors Joseph Ole Lenku of Kajiado and Narok's Patrick Ole Ntutu.

"The Maa Community culture remains distinct and impressive. I have joined the community as we celebrate this rich culture together at the close of the Maa Cultural Festival," he said.

The deputy president's appearance in the regalia caused a kind of frenzy on the internet.

His funny but no-nonsense persona, while in public, has always bemused compatriots.

Earlier, Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi had also joined the Maa community in the fest.

He appreciated the community's effort to safeguard the traditions dear to them in the face of the technological revolution that has had adverse effects on many ethnicities' ways of life.

"I laud the community's efforts in preserving their culture, which is truly cherished worldwide. As leaders, it is our responsibility to be custodians of culture preservation. I wholeheartedly pledge my unwavering support to this cause."

And as it were, Mudavadi also partook in the Maasai attire challenge.
