MaryAnne tied the knot with her longtime partner, lawyer Nyaga Karanja, and her parents, Mudavadadi and Tessie, welcomed her guests warm-heartedly.

From flashy cars to thousands of guests, villagers watched silently from the road, heading to Mudavadi's Mululu home.

Nyaga, a Kikuyu, married MaryAne, a Luhya; many have praised them for intermarrying.
Guests from central Kenya dressed in their traditional brown outfits worn at ruracio, carried the famous kiondo bags and other goodies given to the bride's family during weddings.

Mudavadi, armed with a maroon notebook in his left hand and a stylish staff stick in his right hand, danced vigorously to a popular Luhya hit, leaving guests cheering.
