A building in Kiamaiko, Nairobi County, has collapsed, leaving 10 individuals trapped, including children.
The building is said to have been earmarked for demolition.
According to a report done by Citizen Digital, the building collapsed on Tuesday, May 14, in the afternoon. Operations to rescue the 10 individuals are currently ongoing.
The report further states that three individuals were rescued immediately.

This comes amid the rampant collapse of buildings in the country.
Earlier on, a couple of people are believed to have died under the rubble of a collapsed building in Nairobi's Mathare North area, on Tuesday, May 14.
Through a statement on X (formerly Twitter), the Kenya Red Cross Nairobi Branch confirmed the incident.
The humanitarian organisation said its rescuers were deployed to the scene.
