Grief engulfed a family after a 17-year-old TikToker, identified as Rylo Huncho, died in a tragic gun accident in Virginia.

Police say the 17-year-old rapper shot himself accidentally on Wednesday, May 15, in his house.

The New York Post said the accident occurred when the gun he was using for the video unexpectedly discharged, resulting in his untimely death.

What police said about Rylo Huncho's cause of death

In a video seen by TUKO.co.ke, the young rapper is captured singing into a camera while dancing with a pistol with a green laser sight pointed to his head moments before he pulled the trigger.

According to the police, the young rapper died from an “accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound” to the head.

In the wake of this tragedy, there has been an outpouring of support and sympathy for his family.

His cousin confirmed the incident in a post, saying Huncho was the only son of a single parent.

“He was her only son. She was a single parent but took care of her son the best she could. We are still trying to figure out why. But anything, I mean anything, can help her at this time of need. It was always her and her son,” the rapper's cousin wrote.

How Kenyan TikToker died mysteriously

Elsewhere, a woman who identified on TikTok as Lynette passed on a week after she allegedly took her black American lover home for introductions.

While her family has issued no information, her close friends on TikTok narrated that she died shortly after she returned to the city.

According to the close friends, Lynette was fond of sharing photos and videos of herself and her lover, showing their activities and good times.
