Woman Stabs Sleeping Husband To Death, Hides Body In Bedroom For 2 Days

Uganda - The residents of Mukono district were shocked after a man was allegedly murdered in his sleep by his 30-year-old wife.

Allegedly, Ruth Musimenta stabbed James Nsubuga in the neck, resulting in his death. The tragic incident occurred on Saturday, May 18, at their residence in Katikamu village.

As reported by the Monitor, Fred Enanda, the police spokesperson, disclosed that Musimenta had confined her husband to their bedroom for several days and had devised a plan to dispose of his body.

"Nsubuga was stabbed by his wife around the neck area in his sleep which led to his death. The suspect kept the body in the bedroom for two days until it was recovered by the police. The police recovered a knife which was suspected used in the murder, two army boots and a toy pistol that belonged to the deceased," he said.

Enanga additionally disclosed that Musimenta confessed to the crime of killing her husband and is scheduled to appear in court to answer to murder charges.

Police investigations suggest that the suspect and the deceased had a tumultuous relationship, which ultimately culminated in the fatal incident.

Woman hires hitmen to kill cheating husband

In another story, a woman was arrested for hiring hitmen to kill her husband following consistent domestic feuds.

The plot to kill the man was reached after the couple lost their baby and an unborn child causing the deceased to unveil plans to marry a second wife, according to the police.

The woman confessed, stating that she gave out KSh 105,000 to the three hitmen after her dead husband consistently ridiculed her for not being an expert in sexual affairs.
